  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup Adds a creamy texture.
  • 1 can diced tomatoes Provides acidity to balance the creaminess.
  • 1 cup chicken broth Helps to meld all the flavors together.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., cheddar) For that melty goodness on top.
  • 1 small onion, chopped The base flavor that rounds out the dish.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Adds aroma to the mix.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Simple seasonings that elevate the dish.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For sautéing the onion and garlic.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and chop the onion and garlic in advance.
  • Start by boiling a pot of water and seasoning it with salt.

Cooking

  • Add the spaghetti to boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat, then add the chopped onion and sauté for about 3 minutes until soft.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute.
  • Stir in the shredded chicken, then add the cream of mushroom soup, diced tomatoes, and chicken broth. Mix and heat through.
  • Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and gently toss to coat every noodle in the sauce.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Sprinkle cheese over the top, cover the skillet, and let it melt.
