  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced Use boneless, skinless chicken breasts for best results.
  • 2 cups broccoli florets Fresh broccoli is recommended for optimal flavor.
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced Any type of mushrooms will work.

Sauce and Seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Use low-sodium soy sauce if preferred.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic gives the best flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated Fresh ginger is recommended.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For cooking the chicken.
  • to taste Salt and pepper To season the dish.

Instructions
 

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the sliced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add minced garlic and grated ginger, and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  • Toss in broccoli and mushrooms, and stir-fry until the veggies are tender.
  • Pour in soy sauce and mix well.
  • Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, then serve hot.

Notes

For added flavor, sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving. You can add your favorite vegetables like bell peppers, carrots, or snap peas for color and nutrition. This dish can be served with rice, noodles, or quinoa.
