Ingredients
  

For the brownie batter

  • 1 box brownie mix Use a store-bought or homemade mix.
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

For the cookie dough filling

  • 1 cup chocolate chip cookie dough Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

For topping

  • 1 cup chocolate chips For sprinkling on top before baking.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven according to the brownie mix package instructions. Grease a muffin tin.
  • In a bowl, mix the brownie mix, eggs, and vegetable oil until well combined.
  • Pour a small amount of brownie batter into each muffin cup (about 1/3 full).
  • Roll cookie dough into small balls and place on top of the brownie batter.
  • Cover each cookie dough ball with more brownie batter until the cups are nearly full.
  • Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of each cup.

Baking

  • Bake according to the brownie mix instructions, usually around 20-25 minutes.
  • Allow to cool before removing from the muffin tin.

Notes

These brownie bombs can be served warm or at room temperature. For an extra chocolatey flavor, drizzle some melted chocolate over the top after baking. Store in an airtight container for up to a week in the refrigerator.
