Cake Ingredients

  • 4 large large eggs
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk

Filling Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup candy bits (optional) For added decoration and taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking sheet.
  • In a bowl, beat the eggs and granulated sugar together until pale and thick.
  • Sift the flour, cocoa powder, and salt into the egg mixture and fold gently.
  • Spread the batter evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes.

Filling and Rolling

  • Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before rolling.
  • In another bowl, mix the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Unroll the cake and spread the peanut butter mixture over it, adding candy bits if desired.
  • Roll the cake back up tightly and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve chilled, sliced into generous pieces, and dust with extra powdered sugar for presentation. Can be stored tightly wrapped in plastic wrap or in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator or frozen for up to a month.
