Whipped Cream

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a clean bowl, whip the 6 large egg whites on medium speed until soft peaks form.
  • Gradually add 1 1/2 cups of granulated sugar while continuing to whip until stiff peaks form.
  • Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 1 teaspoon of white vinegar, mixing until well combined.
  • Spoon the meringue mixture onto the prepared baking sheet in a tree shape.

Baking

  • Bake for about 1.5 hours. Once baked, turn off the oven and let the meringue cool inside.

Whipping Cream

  • Once the meringue is cool, whip 1 cup of heavy whipping cream with 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar until soft peaks form.

Assembly

  • Assemble your pavlova by placing the largest meringue layer on a serving platter.
  • Spread a layer of whipped cream on top and layer with fresh fruits.
  • Repeat with smaller layers of meringue, cream, and fruits.
  • Crown your creation with a chocolate star and dust with powdered sugar.

Notes

Ensure your bowl is clean for whipping egg whites, use room temperature eggs, and don’t rush the cooling process to avoid cracking. Serve with fresh mint or chocolate sauce for added flavor.
