Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and quarter each roll.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the quartered cinnamon rolls, apple pie filling, and chopped nuts. Gently fold together.
  • Prepare a 9x13 baking dish by spraying it with cooking spray.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 25-30 minutes.
  • After about 25 minutes, check for doneness; the tops should be golden brown.
  • Let it cool slightly before serving.

Serving

  • Slice into squares and serve warm, optionally topped with whipped cream or ice cream.

Notes

For a golden finish, consider broiling the top for a minute or two, watching closely to avoid burning. Don't rush mixing; ensure all is evenly coated. Try adding a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg on top before baking.
