  • 2 cans cinnamon rolls These are the star of the show! They provide that fluffy, sweet base that pairs perfectly with apples.
  • 1 can apple pie filling A must for that sweet, fruity goodness. Store-bought or homemade can be used.
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans These add a delightful crunch. Feel free to swap with slivered almonds or omit if desired.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and quarter them, placing the pieces into a large mixing bowl.
  • Pour the entire can of apple pie filling over the cinnamon rolls and gently mix them, being careful not to break the rolls too much.
  • Sprinkle in the chopped walnuts or pecans and fold them in gently.
  • Prepare a 9x13 baking dish by spraying it with cooking spray.
  • Carefully pour the cinnamon roll and apple mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.

Baking

  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
  • Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Serving

  • Scoop a portion and serve warm. Drizzle some icing from the cinnamon roll cans on top if desired.

Notes

For an even richer flavor, consider adding a dash of vanilla extract. Watch the baking closely to avoid overbaking.
