Ingredients
  

For the Cake

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cups milk Can substitute with almond milk.
  • 2 large eggs Make sure they are at room temperature.
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract Can substitute with almond extract.
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup nuts (optional) Can use walnuts or pecans.

For the Glaze

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 4-5 tablespoons milk Add to achieve desired consistency.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, milk, eggs, and vanilla. Mix well.
  • Stir in the melted butter until blended.
  • Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
  • In another bowl, mix the softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nuts (if using).
  • Drop spoonfuls of this mixture evenly over the cake batter. Use a knife to swirl it gently into the batter.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Glazing

  • For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Drizzle the glaze over the warm cake before serving.

Notes

Cinnamon Roll Cake is best served warm or at room temperature. It pairs wonderfully with coffee or tea. You can top it with extra glaze or sprinkle additional nuts for crunch. To store, allow it to cool completely, cover tightly and store at room temperature for 2-3 days or refrigerate for up to a week. Freeze for up to 3 months.
