Ingredients
  

For the burger patties

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 lean-to-fat ratio) Key for a juicy patty.
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese Gooey, melted cheese.
  • 4 pieces sesame seed burger buns Classic choice for the burger.
  • 4 leaves lettuce Adds crunch.
  • 4 slices tomato Fresh and juicy.
  • 8 slices crispy bacon Star of the burger.
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles For a tangy twist.
  • 2 tbsp ketchup Must-have condiment.
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise For creaminess.
  • Salt and pepper To taste.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your skillet or grill to medium-high heat.
  • Divide the ground beef into four equal portions and shape them into patties, seasoning both sides with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Cook the patties on the grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side, adding a slice of cheddar cheese on top in the last minute of cooking.
  • Slice the sesame seed buns in half and lightly toast them on the skillet or grill for 1-2 minutes.
  • In a separate pan, fry the bacon until crispy and then drain on paper towels.

Assembly

  • Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each toasted bun, then layer with lettuce, the cooked patty with melted cheese, tomato, diced pickles, and crispy bacon.
  • Drizzle ketchup on top and close with the top half of the bun.

Serving

  • Secure the burger with a toothpick if desired and serve with fries or your favorite drink.

Notes

Feel free to customize with your favorite toppings like fresh herbs, avocado, or grilled onions. Store any leftovers separately to maintain freshness.
