Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat the broth in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add your chopped vegetables and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  • If using meat, add it now and cook until done. If using beans, stir them in until warmed.
  • Stir in seasonings to taste.
  • If adding pasta or rice, do so now and cook according to package instructions.
  • Serve the soup warm and garnish with fresh herbs.

Notes
