Ingredients
  

Main ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded Use leftover chicken or rotisserie chicken to save time.
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed You can use frozen broccoli, steam according to package instructions.

For the sauce

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream For a lighter version, substitute with half-and-half or milk alternative.
  • 0.5 cups grated Parmesan cheese Optional: Serve with extra Parmesan if desired.
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.

Cooking

  • Add cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir and let simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Add chicken and broccoli to the skillet, stirring to coat.
  • Add cooked pasta and toss everything together until well combined and heated through.

Serving

  • Serve hot with extra Parmesan if desired.

Notes

This dish pairs well with a light salad or garlic bread. To store leftovers, let the pasta cool, place in an airtight container, and refrigerate for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stove, adding a splash of cream or water as needed.
