Cheeses

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté chopped onion until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  • Stir in shredded chicken and wilted spinach. Cook for about 5 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper.

Layering

  • In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of white sauce on the bottom.
  • Layer the lasagna noodles, followed by half of the chicken mixture and a generous layer of ricotta.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  • Repeat layering with remaining ingredients, finishing with noodles topped with white sauce and the remaining mozzarella and parmesan.

Baking

  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  • Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For a crispier top, you can broil the lasagna for a couple of minutes at the end. Using a mix of fresh and dried herbs significantly enhances the flavor.
