Ingredients
  

For the Meatballs

  • 1 lb ground beef (or beef/pork blend)
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 whole egg
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley plus extra for garnish
  • to taste Salt and pepper

For Cooking

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for frying meatballs
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced (any color)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, parsley, salt, and pepper until combined. Form into meatballs.

Cooking

  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook meatballs until browned on all sides.
  • Remove meatballs and add sliced bell peppers to the skillet; sauté until tender.
  • Return meatballs to the skillet, pour in heavy cream, and add garlic powder and onion powder.
  • Simmer for 5-7 minutes until sauce thickens and meatballs are cooked through.
  • Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding spices like Italian seasoning or crushed red pepper flakes. Be cautious not to overcrowd the skillet for even cooking. For a thicker sauce, simmer longer or add cornstarch mixed with water.
