Ingredients

Pasta Ingredients

  • 12 oz elbow macaroni or pasta of choice

Sauce and Beef Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 6 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled)
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

Cooking the Pasta

  • Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Preparing the Sauce

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Cook until browned, then remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Pour in heavy cream and milk. Bring to a simmer, then stir in cheddar and parmesan cheeses until smooth and melted.
  • Return beef to the skillet and add cooked pasta. Toss to coat everything in the creamy sauce. Top with crumbled bacon and stir gently.
  • Sprinkle more cheese on top if desired. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Store the pasta in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze it in portions and thaw in the fridge before reheating. Use a mix of cheeses for more complex flavors, and feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or spinach.
