Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 12 oz package of Kielbasa
  • 16 oz box of pasta Any shape preferred
  • 2 TBSP butter
  • 2 TBSP minced garlic
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream Can substitute with half-and-half for a lighter version
  • 2 8 oz cans of tomato sauce
  • 3 TBSP tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese Plus more for serving
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • Dried parsley For garnishing

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the pasta according to the package directions, then drain.
  • In a large pan, brown the Kielbasa over medium heat. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, melt the butter, add minced garlic, and cook until fragrant.

Cooking

  • Pour in the heavy cream, tomato sauce, and tomato paste, mixing well.
  • Add Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir and simmer until sauce thickens.
  • Drain pasta and mix it into the sauce until well coated.
  • Stir in the browned Kielbasa.

Serving

  • Dish out the pasta and top with more Parmesan cheese and dried parsley.

Notes

For a bit of spice, add diced bell peppers or sliced mushrooms when cooking the Kielbasa. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
