  • 1 cup heavy cream Provides luxurious creaminess.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds depth to the sauce.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Season both sides of the steak with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Slice the rested steak into bite-sized pieces once cooked.

Cooking

  • Heat a grill pan or skillet over high heat and sear the steaks for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  • Let the cooked steaks rest for at least 5 minutes.
  • In the same pan, add more olive oil if necessary and cook the shrimp with paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper for about 1-2 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  • Boil the linguine or fettuccine according to package instructions and reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water before draining.
  • In the skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream, add Parmesan cheese, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Add the drained pasta to the sauce and mix, adding reserved pasta water if necessary.
  • Plate the creamy pasta and top with seared steak and shrimp, garnishing with fresh parsley.

Notes

For crispy steak, ensure your pan is very hot before adding the meat. Resting the steak is crucial for juiciness. Use larger shrimp for better presentation.
