Ingredients
  

For the Chicken

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces Chicken breast is a comforting staple that takes on flavors beautifully.
  • 1/2 cup flour This will help create that crispy coating everyone loves.
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs or panko Panko is my personal favorite because it gives extra crunch!
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder Adds that lovely aromatic flavor to the chicken.
  • 1/2 tsp paprika A little touch of heat and color that complements the dish well.
  • to taste Salt & pepper Simple, but essential!
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil for frying Choose your favorite oil that creates a delightful golden crust.

For the Pasta and Sauce

  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine, penne, or bowties) Bowties add a fun touch!
  • 1 1/2 cups broccoli florets Fresh broccoli brings color and nutrition.
  • 2 tbsp butter Because butter makes everything better!
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic elevates the flavor.
  • 1 cup heavy cream The star of the Alfredo sauce!
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Can't have Alfredo without Parmesan!
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese (optional) For an extra creamy indulgence.
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning (optional) Perfect for a little extra flavor.

Instructions
 

Cooking Steps

  • In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package directions. For the last 2-3 minutes, add broccoli florets. Drain and set aside.
  • In a shallow bowl, mix flour, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Dredge chicken pieces in this mixture until evenly coated.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until hot enough to sizzle.
  • Cook chicken in the skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and crispy. Remove from skillet and set aside on a paper towel-lined plate.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream, bringing it to a gentle simmer. Stir in grated Parmesan and cream cheese (if using) until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Let it thicken for about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add cooked pasta and broccoli to the skillet with Alfredo sauce. Toss until well coated.
  • Top with crispy chicken pieces and serve.
  • Divide into bowls, garnishing with extra Parmesan or chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra crispiness, consider double dredging the chicken. Use boneless chicken thighs for juiciness. Do not rush the sauce to develop deeper flavors. Serve with garlic bread and a simple salad.
