Ingredients
  

For the marinade

  • 2 pieces boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1/2 cup dill pickle juice
  • 1/4 cup milk

For the coating

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For frying

  • Oil for frying
  • Honey mustard for serving

Instructions
 

Marinating the Chicken

  • In a bowl, combine the chicken pieces with dill pickle juice and milk. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Preparing the Coating

  • In another bowl, mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Frying the Nuggets

  • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Dredge the marinated chicken pieces in the flour mixture until well coated.
  • Fry the chicken nuggets in the hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  • Remove and drain on paper towels.

Serving

  • Serve hot with honey mustard for dipping.

Notes

Make sure to marinate the chicken long enough for the flavors to soak in. Use a thermometer to check the oil’s temperature; it should be around 350°F for frying. Do not overcrowd the pan while frying; it can lower the oil temperature and make the nuggets less crispy. Double-dip the chicken in the milk mixture and flour mixture for extra crunch.
