Cooking

  • Stir to coat the apples evenly with the spices.
  • Cover and set the crockpot to low for about 10 to 12 hours.
  • Once the apples are soft, blend the mixture until smooth using an immersion blender or regular blender.
  • For thicker apple butter, cook uncovered on low for an additional 1 to 2 hours.
