Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts The star of the show!
  • 1 can chicken broth A flavorful base.
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup Adds creaminess and richness.
  • 2 cups sliced carrots Adds color and sweetness.
  • 2 cups sliced celery Provides crunch and aroma.

For the Dumplings

  • 1 cup biscuit dough For quick and easy dumplings.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Wash and slice the carrots and celery.
  • Lay the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Pour in the chicken broth over the chicken.
  • Add the cream of chicken soup and mix gently.
  • Place the sliced carrots and celery on top.

Cooking

  • Cover the slow cooker and set to low for 6-8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken in the slow cooker.
  • Stir to mix everything well and taste for seasoning.
  • Drop spoonfuls of biscuit dough over the chicken mixture 30 minutes before serving.
  • Cover again and allow the dumplings to steam on top.
  • After 30 minutes, serve in bowls.

Notes

Add fresh herbs like rosemary for extra flavor; serve with salad or cornbread for a complete meal. Leftovers last up to three days and can be frozen.
