Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef The heart of your lasagna.
  • 1 can 24 oz pasta sauce Choose your favorite brand or make your own.
  • 1 package 25 oz frozen cheese ravioli Frozen ravioli saves time.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese For a gooey texture.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Adds a nice sharpness.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Break it apart as it cooks and drain excess fat.
  • Grab your crockpot and pour in half of the pasta sauce to create a base.
  • Lay half of the frozen cheese ravioli on top of the sauce without thawing.
  • Spoon half of the browned ground beef over the ravioli.
  • Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the beef.
  • Repeat the layers with the remaining pasta sauce, the rest of the ravioli, the remaining beef, and top with the rest of the cheese.

Cooking

  • Cover and set the crockpot to cook on low for about 4 to 6 hours.
  • After 4 hours, check for doneness—the ravioli should be tender and the cheese melted.

Serving

  • Scoop out a generous portion and optionally sprinkle fresh herbs or extra cheese on top before serving.

Notes

For creamier cheese, add an extra cup. Avoid lifting the lid of the crockpot too often to retain heat. This lasagna pairs well with a salad or garlic bread.
