  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
  • Add the chopped spinach and cook until wilted.

Mixing

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  • Stir in the cooked spinach and onion mixture, along with the crumbled feta cheese.

Baking

  • Pour the mixture into a greased pie dish.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set and lightly golden on top.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

This quiche can be served warm or at room temperature. It pairs wonderfully with a simple side salad or some fresh fruit. Feel free to add extra crumbled feta or fresh herbs for added flavor.
