  • 50 g Cocoa Powder Provides the deep chocolate flavor.
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda Helps cookies rise and stay fluffy.
  • 100 g Chocolate Chips Use semi-sweet or dark chips for indulgence.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
  • Beat in eggs one at a time, ensuring each one is fully incorporated.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips evenly into the cookie dough.

Baking

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and scoop spoonfuls of dough onto it.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until edges are set but centers are soft.
  • Allow cookies to cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container.

Notes

For an extra chocolatey experience, add chopped high-quality chocolate bars to the dough. Store in an airtight container and warm up leftovers in the microwave for 10 seconds.
