  • 2 8-ounce packages cream cheese Must be softened for easier mixing.
  • 1 cup sugar Can substitute with a sugar alternative if desired.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds flavor to the filling.
  • 1 large egg Binds the filling together.
  • 1 large egg white Adds richness to the filling.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Unroll the crescent rolls and press the seams together to form a rectangle on a baking sheet.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and egg. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll dough.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Let cool for 10 minutes, then cut into squares or bars.
