  • 8-10 pieces eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 pound browned sausage
  • 2 slices bread (cut into cubes & slightly dried) Day-old bread is best for texture and flavor.
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt (optional)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • Grease a 9x13 pan to prevent sticking.
  • In a mixing bowl, scramble the eggs.
  • Stir in the milk until well combined.
  • Add the browned sausage, bread cubes, cheddar cheese, and salt (if using) to the mixing bowl.
  • Mix all the ingredients well.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared 9x13 pan.

Baking

  • Bake in the oven for 30 - 45 minutes or until the top is golden and the eggs are set.

Notes

Serve warm, cut into squares, and consider pairing with fresh fruit, hash browns, or yogurt. You can also add hot sauce or salsa for extra flavor. To store leftovers, let cool completely and cover tightly; can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for longer storage.
