Preparation

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the ground pork or turkey, breaking it into smaller pieces as it cooks for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  • Add diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until onions are soft and translucent (about 3-5 minutes).
  • Stir in the coleslaw mix and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until tender.
  • Pour in the soy sauce, sesame oil, and ground ginger, stirring well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Serve hot, garnishing with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

To prevent overcrowding, cook in batches if doubling. For added heat, include sriracha or red pepper flakes.
