Main Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 200 grams Polish sausage, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Cooking

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the diced potatoes and cook until they start to become tender, about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the sliced onions and continue to cook for another 5 minutes until the onions become translucent.
  • Add the sliced Polish sausage to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until the sausage is browned and the potatoes are cooked through, about 10 more minutes.
  • Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Ensure the potatoes are diced evenly to cook properly. Feel free to add your favorite vegetables, like bell peppers or mushrooms, for extra flavor and nutrition. Adjust the seasoning to your taste; you can add garlic powder or paprika for more depth.
