Ingredients

Vegetables

  • 1 large head broccoli, cut into florets
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced

Sauces and Seasonings

  • 2 tablespoons oil for stir-frying
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon oyster sauce optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • Bring a pot of water to a boil and blanch the broccoli florets for 1-2 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Stir-Frying

  • Heat the oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, until they are crisp-tender.
  • Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), salt, and pepper, and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until the broccoli is well-coated.
  • Serve hot.

Notes

Make sure not to overcook the broccoli when blanching. It should be bright green and still crisp. Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas for more variety. Adjust the levels of garlic based on your taste preference.
