Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pat the scallops dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper.
  • In a bowl, mix the garlic butter and lemon juice together.
  • Toss the scallops in the garlic butter mixture until well coated.

Cooking

  • Place the scallops in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for about 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the scallops are opaque and cooked through.
  • Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve scallops as an appetizer or main dish paired with a fresh salad, steamed vegetables, or garlic bread. A splash of white wine can enhance the meal. Make sure scallops are dry before seasoning for even cooking, and do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. Adjust seasonings to taste.
