  • 4 tablespoons butter Unsalted butter is recommended.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • for garnish Parsley Fresh parsley for garnish.

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • In a bowl, combine the scallops, garlic butter mixture, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

Cooking

  • Place the scallops in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Air fry for 8-10 minutes until the scallops are opaque and cooked through.

Serving

  • Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

Make sure to dry the scallops with paper towels before cooking to help them sear properly. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket, and adjust cooking time based on scallop size. For added flavor, sprinkle paprika or chili flakes before cooking and try different herbs like thyme or rosemary.
