Ingredients
  

For the Dough

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour Gives the flatbreads a soft, chewy texture
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Enhances the flavors
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder Helps the flatbreads puff up during cooking
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil Adds richness
  • 3/4 cup Warm water Brings everything together

For the Topping

  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced) The star ingredient that adds flavor
  • 1 tablespoon Melted butter To mix with garlic for brushing
  • To taste Fresh parsley (chopped, optional) Adds a pop of color and flavor

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder. Whisk until well-mixed.
  • Create a well in the center, then add olive oil and warm water. Mix with your hands until the dough begins to form.
  • Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for 1-2 minutes until elastic.
  • Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  • Divide the dough into 6-8 equal portions.

Cooking

  • Flatten each ball with palms and roll out to about 1/4-inch thickness using a rolling pin.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet on medium heat.
  • Cook each flatbread for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and bubbles form.
  • While cooking, mix melted butter with minced garlic.
  • Brush each cooked flatbread with garlic butter immediately, and sprinkle with parsley if desired.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For perfect results, don't skip resting the dough and ensure the skillet is hot before cooking.
