  • 8 oz mushrooms Fresh mushrooms like cremini, shiitake, or portobello can be used.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Adjust according to taste.
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Use gluten-free Parmesan cheese if needed.
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish Don't skip the parsley; it enhances the dish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix mushrooms, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Baking

  • Spread the mixture on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until mushrooms are tender.
  • Remove from oven and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serving

  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh mushrooms and feel free to add herbs like thyme or rosemary. You can also incorporate a little cream cheese for a creamier texture. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days.
