For the gravy

  • 1 cup chicken broth Can substitute with vegetable broth if needed
  • 1 cup heavy cream For a lighter sauce, substitute half with low-fat milk
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley For garnish

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Rub the mixture over the chicken thighs.

Cooking

  • Place the chicken in a baking dish and roast for 30-35 minutes until cooked through.
  • In a saucepan, combine chicken broth and heavy cream, bringing it to a simmer.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese and cook until thickened.

Serving

  • Serve the chicken thighs drizzled with the Parmesan gravy and garnish with parsley.

Notes

For extra crispy skin, broil the chicken for the last few minutes of cooking. You can add vegetables like potatoes, carrots, or onions to the baking dish for a complete one-pan meal.
