Ingredients
  

Shrimp and Marinade

  • 1 pound Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the minced garlic, olive oil, chopped parsley, chopped basil, fresh lemon juice, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Mix everything together well.
  • Toss your shrimp into the bowl. Make sure every piece is well-coated with the marinade. Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

Grilling

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  • If you want to make your shrimp easier to handle, thread them onto skewers. If you’re using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes beforehand.
  • Grill the shrimp on each side for about 2-3 minutes until they are pink and opaque. Avoid overcooking.

Serving

  • Once grilled, remove the shrimp from the grill and transfer them to a plate. Serve hot.
  • Pair with a light salad or grilled vegetables.

Notes

For an extra flavor kick, add fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme. You may also add red pepper flakes or a splash of white wine to the marinade if desired.
