Ingredients
  

Egg Mixture

  • 6 large Large Eggs
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Can substitute with half-and-half or whole milk.
  • to taste Salt and Pepper Season generously.

Filling Ingredients

  • 1 cup Diced Cooked Ham Leftover baked ham works well.
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Feel free to experiment with other cheeses.
  • 1 cup Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese A mix of cheeses adds great flavor.
  • 1 cup Chopped Broccoli Other veggies like spinach or bell peppers can be used.
  • 1/2 cup Diced Onion
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic

Crust

  • 1 Pie Crust Can be homemade or store-bought.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking for 2-3 minutes until soft.
  • Add the chopped broccoli to the skillet and sauté for another 2-3 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  • Combine the sautéed veggies, diced ham, and cheeses into the egg mixture and stir until well combined.
  • Place the pie crust into a pie dish and gently pour the egg mixture into the crust.

Cooking

  • Bake the quiche in the preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes, or until set in the center and golden on top.
  • Let the quiche cool for a few minutes before slicing.
  • Serve warm with a side salad or fresh fruit.

Notes

To elevate flavors, use fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator and reheated in the oven.
