Ingredients
  

For the quiche

  • 6 large large eggs Use fresh eggs for best results.
  • 1 cup cream You can substitute with half-and-half for a richer flavor.
  • 1 cup cooked ham, diced Leftover ham works great.
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded Feel free to substitute with your favorite cheese.
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded Experiment with different cheeses if desired.
  • 1 cup broccoli florets, steamed Fresh or frozen broccoli can be used.
  • 1 small onion, chopped Small onion, finely chopped.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Freshly minced for a flavorful kick.
  • 1 each pre-made pie crust Store-bought or homemade.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Add seasoning according to your preference.
  • Spices (e.g., nutmeg, thyme, or your preference) Customize with your favorite spices.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and cream.
  • Stir in the diced ham, shredded cheeses, steamed broccoli, chopped onion, minced garlic, and spices.
  • Pour the mixture into the pre-made pie crust.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown.
  • Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

Best served warm but can also be enjoyed cold. Pairs well with a green salad or fresh fruit. For added flavor, garnish with fresh herbs before serving. Store leftovers tightly wrapped in plastic wrap or foil in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
