  • Brown the Ground Beef: Heat a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef, and break it up with a spatula while it cooks.
  • Drain Excess Grease: Once fully cooked, drain any excess grease using a colander.
  • Add the Onion: Stir in the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Stir in the Cabbage: Add the chopped cabbage and let it cook for a few minutes until it starts to wilt.
  • Add the Tomatoes: Pour in the diced tomatoes with juice and mix everything together.
  • Season with Garlic Powder: Sprinkle garlic powder over the mixture.
  • Cover and Simmer: Cover the skillet with a lid and simmer for about 15-20 minutes.
  • Stir Occasionally: Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  • Taste and Adjust Seasoning: Before serving, taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.

Notes
