  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil Essential for stir-frying.

Instructions

Cooking Steps

  • Start by boiling the lo mein noodles according to the package instructions. Once they’re al dente, drain and set aside.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the thinly sliced beef and cook until it’s nicely browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Toss in the minced garlic and ginger and stir-fry for a minute. Then, add the broccoli florets, sliced carrots, and green peas. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the veggies are tender but still crisp.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil.
  • Return the beef to the skillet with the vegetables. Add the cooked noodles and pour the sauce over everything. Toss to ensure everything is evenly coated and heated throughout.
  • If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds on top for garnish and serve immediately.
