  • 4 tostada shells
  • 1/2 cup sour cream Optional

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
  • Drain the fat, then add taco seasoning and water according to packet instructions. Stir and let simmer.

Assembly

  • Start with a large tortilla on a flat surface.
  • Place a tostada shell in the center of each tortilla.
  • Layer with seasoned beef, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese.
  • If using, add a dollop of sour cream on top.
  • Fold the edges of the tortilla towards the center until it's fully wrapped.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the wrapped crunch wrap seam side down.
  • Cook until golden brown, then flip to brown the other side.
  • Remove from heat, cut in half, and serve warm.

Notes

Serve warm with extra toppings like salsa, guacamole, or more sour cream. They can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, and can be reheated in a skillet over low heat. For added crunch, fry the wrapped crunch wrap in a bit of oil instead of just using a dry skillet.
