Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat.
  • In a small bowl, combine chili powder, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel. Rub the spice mix evenly over both sides of the chicken.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the seasoned chicken.
  • Squeeze lime juice over the chicken.

Cooking

  • Cook the chicken on the grill or skillet for about 6-7 minutes on each side.
  • Check for doneness using a meat thermometer - it should reach 165°F.

Serving

  • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes, then garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.

Notes

Consider letting the chicken rest uncovered before cooking for extra crispiness. Marinating the chicken will intensify the flavor. Always let the chicken rest after cooking for a juicy texture.
