  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce Use low-sodium if preferred.
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil For frying.
  • 2 Green onions, chopped
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Preparation

  • Gather your ingredients and tools, including a heavy skillet or frying pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and cornstarch. Whisk until blended.
  • Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
  • Heat vegetable oil in the skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the chicken pieces to the skillet and fry for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken, tossing gently to coat.
  • Add chopped green onions and stir for about a minute.
  • Serve the Honey Garlic Chicken with extra sauce drizzled on top.

Notes

Let the chicken rest for a few minutes after frying for juicier bites. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
