  • 6 pieces bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the chicken thighs in the slow cooker and pour the honey garlic mixture over them.

Cooking

  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  • If desired, remove the chicken, and pour the sauce into a saucepan. Simmer to thicken.

Serving

  • Serve the chicken with the sauce drizzled on top.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the honey garlic mixture for a few hours before cooking. You can add vegetables like carrots or bell peppers to the slow cooker for a one-pot meal. Adjust the honey and soy sauce to your taste; add more honey for sweetness or more soy sauce for saltiness.
