  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce Optional for extra heat

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, chili sauce, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
  • Pour the honey garlic mixture over the chicken.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through.

Serving

  • Serve the chicken garnished with green onions.

Notes

To store leftover chicken thighs, let them cool completely. Place in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3-4 days, or freeze for 3 months. For a thicker sauce, remove the chicken and simmer the sauce in a pan.
