Ingredients
  

Wings and Marinade

  • 1 pound chicken wings, drumettes and flats separated
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Garnishes

  • Lemon slices, for garnish
  • Chili flakes for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Add chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat evenly.
  • Arrange wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Cooking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until wings are cooked through and golden brown.

Serving

  • Garnish with lemon slices and serve hot.

Notes

For extra crispy wings, broil them for a few minutes at the end of baking. Marinate the wings in the honey lemon mixture for a few hours or overnight for more flavor. If you prefer a spicier kick, add more chili flakes to the marinade. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
