Ingredients
  

Meat and Vegetables

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb ground mild Italian sausage
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1 tsp olive oil For sautéing vegetables
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp oregano Dried

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onion and bell pepper until softened.
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Italian sausage, cooked vegetables, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and oregano. Mix well.
  • Place the meat mixture into a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  • Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, serve with marinara sauce or sprinkle some grated cheese on top. Store leftovers tightly wrapped in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
