Ingredients

For the Stromboli

  • 1 tube Pillsbury pizza crust You can use homemade pizza dough if preferred.
  • 8 slices deli ham Savory flavor pairs beautifully.
  • 10 slices Genoa salami Adds a little spice and delicious flavor.
  • 12 slices sandwich pepperoni A classic ingredient that everyone enjoys.
  • 8 slices provolone cheese or mozzarella These cheeses melt perfectly.
  • 2 tablespoons butter For brushing on the crust before baking.
  • 2 cloves minced garlic Essential for that Italian flavor.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  • On a lightly floured surface, carefully unroll your pizza crust.
  • Layer ham, salami, and pepperoni evenly over the crust.
  • Sprinkle provolone or mozzarella cheese generously over the layered meats.
  • Sprinkle the minced garlic evenly over everything.
  • Carefully roll up the pizza crust starting from one edge and seal it.
  • Melt the butter and brush it over the outside of the Stromboli.
  • Place the Stromboli on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Baking

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let it cool for a few moments before slicing.
  • Slice into pieces and serve warm, ideally with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Letting the dough come to room temperature before rolling can help. For a crispier crust, sprinkle cornmeal on the baking sheet beforehand. Feel free to experiment with your favorite filling ingredients.
