Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound Kielbasa, sliced
  • 4 cups Frozen hash browns
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 small Onion, chopped
  • 1 Bell pepper, chopped
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Chop your onion and bell pepper into small pieces.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the frozen hash browns, sliced kielbasa, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped onion, and bell pepper.
  • In another bowl, crack the eggs and add milk, seasoning with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Whisk until frothy.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the hash brown and kielbasa blend and stir gently.
  • Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish, pour the mixture in, and spread it evenly.

Cooking

  • Bake uncovered for about 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and set.
  • Check for doneness by inserting a knife into the center; it should come out clean.
  • Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before serving.
  • Serve warm, optionally garnished with fresh herbs or sour cream.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider blending cheeses or adding sautéed mushrooms. Letting the casserole rest before serving is key for better presentation.
