Ingredients
  

For the salmon foil packs

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets Fresh salmon for best taste
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed Fresh asparagus
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted For the garlic butter sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Can substitute with garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • as needed slices Lemon For garnish and extra flavor

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Lay out large pieces of aluminum foil on a baking sheet.
  • Place a salmon fillet in the center of each foil piece.
  • Arrange the trimmed asparagus around the salmon.
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Drizzle the garlic butter sauce over the salmon and asparagus.
  • Top with lemon slices.
  • Fold the foil over the salmon and asparagus to create a sealed packet.

Cooking

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Carefully open the foil and serve warm.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding herbs like parsley or dill to the butter sauce. Fresh salmon yields the best results. Adjust cooking times for vegetables based on your texture preference.
