  • 2 cups cooked pasta (rotini or penne) Cook pasta according to package instructions before mixing.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to substitute with mozzarella or a cheese blend.
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled Cook bacon until crispy for best results.
  • 1 cup milk Whole milk is preferred for creaminess.
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper To taste.

Preparation

  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  • Sprinkle flour into the skillet with the browned beef. Stir well, and gradually whisk in the milk to form a creamy sauce.
  • Stir in ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.

Final Assembly

  • Add the cooked pasta, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir thoroughly until the cheese is melted and the sauce evenly coats the pasta and ingredients.
  • Serve immediately. Optionally, top with more cheese or crumbled bacon.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding diced onions or bell peppers when you brown the ground beef. Ensure to drain the fat properly to prevent the dish from becoming too greasy. To store leftovers, let cool completely and place in an airtight container. It can be kept in the fridge for up to 3 days.
