Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 3 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt Provides moisture to the cake.
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable oil
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups Apples, peeled and chopped Granny Smith or Honeycrisp recommended.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease and flour your bundt cake pan or a 9×13 inch baking dish.

Mixing

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  • In another bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  • Gradually fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Be careful not to over-mix.
  • Gently fold in the chopped apples.
  • Pour the batter into your prepared baking pan.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes.
  • Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Serving

  • Once cooled, slice and serve. Enjoy with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream if desired.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for a smoother batter. The cake tastes even better the next day. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
